Tips to Prevent Neck Pain

Avoid Prolonged Periods of Sustained Postures

Are you concerned about maintaining "correct posture?" There good news is generally speaking there is no "correct posture." The best postural advice we can give our patients is to NOT maintain the same posture for extended periods of time. If you try to maintain the same posture for an extended period of time, rather than alternating postures, it is very likely you will experience increased levels of lower back pain. Regular Exercise

Movement is the key to life right? Whilst many patients are looking for specific exercises to treat neck pain, on the most part general exercise will suffice. We also have some bad news for the workoholics out there, work does count as exercise. Whilst exercise aims to decrease blood pressure, heart rate and stress, work does the opposite.
